Expert Express Entry Guidance
The Express Entry system manages applications for three federal economic immigration programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP). The system is competitive—small errors or a poorly optimized profile can cost you thousands of CRS points and delay PR for years.
Shirani Jenita Daniel, RCIC-IRB, reviews every profile with a focus on documentation accuracy, NOC/TEER classification, and CRS optimization strategies before submission. Many clients come to Imprint after a refusal or after discovering their previous profile contained errors.

Why Proper CRS Strategy Matters
Documentation Gaps Cost Points
Missing or incorrect documentation is the #1 cause of refusals. A single wrong NOC code or ECA error can invalidate a profile and waste months.
PNP Can Add 600 CRS Points
A provincial nomination adds 600 points to your CRS score, virtually guaranteeing an ITA. We assess all Alberta PNP streams as part of your strategy.
Time-Sensitive Round Strategies
Not all Express Entry rounds are equal. Healthcare, STEM, and PNP-specific draws occur regularly. We monitor rounds and advise on timing.
Express Entry FAQ
The minimum score changes with every round of invitations. IRCC does not publish a minimum; scores are set by the pool of candidates on the day of each draw. Historical scores typically range from 470 to 550+ for all-program draws, and lower for category-based draws. We recommend checking the IRCC official website for the latest round results.
Eligibility depends on factors including work experience (NOC/TEER level), language scores (CLB), education, and whether you have Canadian experience. Shirani conducts a full eligibility assessment in your initial consultation covering all three programs to identify the best pathway.
Yes. A valid job offer is not required for all programs. You can receive up to 50 or 200 CRS points for a qualifying job offer, but many candidates receive ITAs and are approved for PR without one, particularly through category-based draws or provincial nominations.
After an ITA, you have 60 days to submit a complete PR application. The application includes extensive documentation. Missing or incorrect documents during this phase can result in refusal. Shirani reviews every document in your PR application package before submission.
